Job summary

MultiCare Health System seeks an experienced Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to provide outpatient psychiatric consultations, including diagnosis, medication management, and therapy recommendations.

You will collaborate with Integrated Mental Health Therapists and primary care teams, educate the care team on diagnosing and managing behavioral health conditions, and perform psychiatric evaluations to support treatment decisions.

Qualifications

• Washington licensure required by employment date.
• Advanced practice nurse prescriptive authority under WA DOH.
• PMHNP-BC or PMHNP-BC active certifications (PMHNP-BC or PMHCNS-BC preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provides outpatient psychiatric evaluations to clarify treatment recommendations.
• Regular caseload consultation with Integrated Mental Health Therapist.
• Documentation within EHR completion policy timelines.
• Demonstrates positive attitude toward internal/external customers.
• Oversees status and population health of assigned patient caseload.
