Behavioral Health Network, Inc. is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our Outpatient Psychiatry team in Western Massachusetts.

The role provides on-site clinical and administrative support to psychiatrists and APRNs, including measuring vital signs, coordinating prescription workflows, and maintaining records. The ideal candidate holds a Medical Assistant certificate or degree, has at least 1 year of experience with a psychiatric population, and is proficient with electronic health records.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Medical Assistant certificate or degree required.
• At least 1 year of experience with a psychiatric or behavioral-health population.
• Familiarity with electronic health records; ability to learn other clinical software.
• Ability to accurately obtain vital signs and review medication dosages.

Responsabilidades

• Provide on-site clinical and administrative support to psychiatrists, APRNs, and patients in BHN's Outpatient Psychiatry program.
• Measure and document vital signs and communicate clinical information to prescribing providers.
• Coordinate prescription and refill workflows and prior authorizations.
• Manage laboratory orders/results and monitoring for prescribed medications.
• Maintain accurate data in EHR and other systems and support care coordination with treatment partners.
