Job summary

CaroMont Psychiatric Associates seeks a full-time MD/DO Psychiatrist to join our established outpatient behavioral health team. The role offers a stable schedule, strong multidisciplinary support, and the opportunity to shape care for a diverse patient population.

We provide a private office in a collaborative environment, with a focus on supervision of 1–2 NPs and a mix of new evaluations, follow-ups, and post-discharge visits.

Qualifications

• MD/DO Psychiatrist in an outpatient behavioral health setting.
• Multidisciplinary team with LMHPs, Psychologists, and medical assistants.
• Opportunity to supervise 1–2 NPs.
• Flexible M–F schedule with clinic closing at 5 PM.
• 36 patient-facing hours + 4 admin hours weekly.
• Average 14 patients per day.
• Mix of new evaluations, follow-ups and acute post-discharge visits.
• No procedures
• Preference for some child/adolescent patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient psychiatric assessments and ongoing care within a collaborative team.
• Supervise NP staff as part of a multidisciplinary care model.
• Manage a mix of new evaluations, follow-ups and post-discharge visits without procedural requirements.
