Job summary

CaroMont Health in Gastonia, NC is seeking a PRN Psychiatrist who is board eligible or board certified to join our established psychiatric team. The role offers flexible weekday scheduling with defined weekend and night call coverage in a supportive, physician-friendly environment.

Inpatient responsibilities cover children, adolescents, and adults. Weekend coverage is 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and on-call Fridays and Sundays from 4:30 PM to 8:00 AM. Active NC license and DEA are required.

• Provide care for dual diagnosis and substance use patients
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation
