Job summary

Mind Body Optimization Inc seeks an Advanced Practice Provider (PMHNP) to join our outpatient psychiatry team. You will conduct psychiatric evaluations, manage medications, and collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, and social workers to deliver patient-centered care.

You will educate families, perform risk assessments, maintain EHR documentation, and ensure compliance with DEA/state guidelines while pursuing ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• PMHNP-BC licensure as required for the role.
• 5–10 years of healthcare/mental health experience preferred.
• Knowledge of DEA/state regulations for prescribing controlled substances.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations with history, mental status exams, and diagnostics.
• Manage psychotropic medications including initiation and titration.
• Provide crisis intervention and risk assessments as needed.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists and social workers for treatment plans.
• Educate patients and families on conditions, options, and self-care.
• Maintain accurate EHR documentation and ensure policy compliance.
