The role requires Washington ARNP licensure with prescriptive authority and PMHNP board certification, plus DEA license. Responsibilities include collaboration with treatment teams, documentation, and participation in provider on-call rotations.

Qualifications

• Washington State ARNP license with prescriptive authority.
• Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Board Certification (ANCC).
• DEA license and credentialing with insurance companies.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychiatric assessments and diagnoses for assigned clients and crisis evaluations as needed.
• Educate patients about diagnoses and medication treatment plans.
• Prescribe and monitor psychotropic medications.
• Consult regularly with Chief Medical Officer on complex cases.
• Document in FBH’s electronic medical record with timeliness and accuracy.
• Coordinate with primary care providers and facilitate referrals.
