Cedar Hills is looking for our next Outpatient Program Therapist to join our team of great people!
How You Will Make an Impact:
This position carries a caseload of 20 PHP/IOP patients. A program therapist will run group therapy for 20 hours per week and meet individually with clients on their caseload. Individual meetings with patients will take place for various reasons, including treatment planning, aftercare planning, and crisis intervention. This is a full-time salaried position, Monday – Friday.

Qualifications
Education: a Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or equivalent is required.
Experience: Preferred: 1+ years in behavioral health. Experience in group therapy, crisis intervention, and treatment planning.
Licensure: Clinical licensure (i.e. LPC, LCSW, LMFT) is not required, but a Master’s Degree (as described above) is.
Additional Requirements: CPR certification, Handle With Care and Verbal De-Escalation training within 30 days of employment prior to assisting in a restraining procedure. Must be able to pass a competency exam for the area upon hire. May be required to work flexible hours and overtime.
