Job summary

U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, Durham Health Care System, is seeking a Primary Care Physician to deliver comprehensive outpatient care to enrolled patients in the Durham area. The physician will manage scheduled and unscheduled visits in a clinic setting, functioning in clinical and administrative roles in line with VA policies.

Qualifications

• Must hold an MD or DO degree from an approved medical school.
• Current, full, and unrestricted medical license in the United States or D.C.
• Completion of an ACGME/AOA–accredited residency in internal medicine or family medicine.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary care to patients enrolled in the outpatient clinic.
• Manage scheduled and unscheduled patient visits in the Durham HCS.
• Fulfill clinical and administrative responsibilities in accordance with VA policies.
