Job summary

Yale NewHaven Health is seeking an experienced physician in internal medicine or family medicine to provide non-surgical primary care within the Northeast Medical Group. The role combines medical leadership of an interdisciplinary team with administrative responsibilities to optimize patient care and access.

Candidates must hold an MD or DO with ABIM or ABFM residency, board certification, and a CT license, plus BLS and DEA credentials.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with ABIM internal medicine residency (3 years minimum) or ABFM family medicine residency (3 years minimum).
• Valid American Board certification in internal or family medicine and licensed to practice in Connecticut.
• BLS certification and valid DEA registration.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and treat acute and chronic illnesses.
• Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests.
• Involve patients and families in care decisions and develop treatment plans.
