Job summary

MyCare Medical in Plantation, FL, is seeking a full-time, board-certified physician to join our outpatient-focused team. The role emphasizes Medicare Advantage care with a patient-centered approach and a strong emphasis on value-based outcomes.

Responsibilities include Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm, with a flexible on-call schedule and a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment. We offer full benefits, malpractice coverage, and a performance-based bonus program.

Qualifications

• Must have MD or DO from an accredited program.
• Board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Geriatrics.
• Unrestricted medical license and DEA in the state of practice or ability to obtain before employment.
• Up-to-date CPR and BLS certifications.
• Experience with Medicare Advantage populations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide 100% outpatient care Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm.
• Manage care for Medicare-aged patients with multiple comorbidities.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to optimize quality and reduce costs.
• Utilize ECW EMR and related programs to document care.

MyCare Medical is actively seeking a full-time, Board-certified physician to join our team in Broward Blvd, Plantation, Florida. We are a medical practice family specializing in value-based care, and delivering the highest quality care to our patients at the lowest costs available to them. Our company is physician-founded, and dyad-led. We’ve created a structural support system to ensure that our providers can focus solely on patient care.

Responsibilities: About this Opportunity:

• Monday – Friday, 8am-5pm
• Rotating and flexible on-call schedule.
• Average daily volume is 15 patients per day
• We use eClinical Works, along with partnering programs to ensure ease of use for our patients and practices.
• We focus on continuity of care, health maintenance, and disease prevention, working alongside patients and their families to prevent, diagnose, treat and manage a Medicare Advantage population with multiple comorbidities.
• Integrated team-based care: Working as a multidisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes by meeting their needs and preferences.
• Prioritizing preventative care and proactive management of chronic conditions to improve patient outcomes, decrease patient’s costs, and increase revenue for the practice.
• Providers must be comfortable managing a primarily Medicare-aged patient population.
• Graduated from an accredited MD or DO accredited program.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine or Geriatric Medicine.
• Unrestricted Medical License and DEA Licensure in the state of practice or the ability to obtain a license prior to employment
• Up-to-date CPR Certification and Basic Cardiac Life Support certification.

Required Skills:

• Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
• Ability to use Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system – specifically ECW
• Knowledge of Medical Advantage, HEIDS, MRA and ICD-10 Coding
• Comfortable managing a primarily Medicare-aged patient population
• Demonstrated ability to problem-solve complex and multifaceted situations.
