Job summary

MyCare Medical in West Palm Beach, FL seeks a full-time, board-certified physician for outpatient care. The practice emphasizes value-based care, high-quality patient outcomes, and low-cost care delivery. The role involves a Monday–Friday schedule, a rotating on-call, and teamwork with a biomedical office to support patient care.

Ideal candidates are bilingual in English and Spanish, with MD/DO credentials, and licensure/DEA in Florida. ECW is used for EMR documentation and patient management.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited MD or DO program.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine or Geriatric Medicine.
• Unrestricted Medical License and DEA Licensure in the practicing state or ability to obtain before employment.
• Up-to-date CPR and Basic Life Support certification.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
• Ability to use EMR system – ECW.
• Knowledge of Medical Advantage, HEIDS, MRA and ICD-10 Coding.
• Comfortable managing a Medicare-aged patient population.
• Demonstrated ability to solve complex situations.

Responsibilities

• Provide 100% outpatient care to a Medicare-aged population.
• Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm with rotating on-call schedule.
• Collaborate within an integrated, multidisciplinary team.
• Focus on continuity of care, preventive services and disease management.
• Utilize ECW EMR for patient documentation and workflow.

About this Opportunity

• Monday – Friday, 8am-5pm
• Rotating and flexible on-call schedule.
• Average daily volume is 15 patients per day
• Bilingual (English–Spanish) Preferred
• We use eClinical Works, along with partnering programs to ensure ease of use for our patients and practices.
• We focus on continuity of care, health maintenance, and disease prevention, working alongside patients and their families to prevent, diagnose, treat and manage a Medicare Advantage population with multiple comorbidities.
• Integrated team-based care: Working as a multidisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes by meeting their needs and preferences.
• Prioritizing preventative care and proactive management of chronic conditions to improve patient outcomes, decrease patients’ costs, and increase revenue for the practice.
• Providers must be comfortable managing a primarily Medicare-aged patient population.

Applicant Requirements

• Graduated from an accredited MD or DO accredited program.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine or Geriatric Medicine.
• Unrestricted Medical License and DEA Licensure in the state of practice or the ability to obtain a license prior to employment.
• Up-to-date CPR Certification and Basic Cardiac Life Support certification.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
• Ability to use Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system – specifically ECW.
• Knowledge of Medical Advantage, HEIDS, MRA and ICD-10 Coding.
• Comfortable managing a primarily Medicare-aged patient population.
• Demonstrated ability to problem-solve complex and multifaceted situations.
