Health Ministries Clinic (HMC) seeks a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to join our integrated care team in Newton, Kansas. This full-time position supports outpatient primary care in a mission-driven, collaborative environment.

As a vital member of an FQHC, you will work with physicians, behavioral health providers, and nurses, focusing on whole-person, evidence-based care. The role emphasizes quality care, meaningful patient connections, and community impact.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree required.
• 1+ years of nursing experience, clinic or public health preferred.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Knowledge of public health preferred.
• Strong EMR knowledge and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Communicate and collaborate with providers, medical assistants, and other health care professionals to deliver optimum primary care.
• Create and contribute to patients' electronic medical records to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Administer medications and vaccinations and render treatment to all ages as ordered by a healthcare provider.
• Respond to inquiries, concerns and complaints from patients, parents, or caregivers.
• Participate in quality improvement efforts.
• Assist with tracking and maintaining a medical supply inventory.
