AdventHealth Shawnee Mission in Kansas is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse to administer treatments and medications and coordinate care with the RN and healthcare team. You will collect patient data, document progress, and educate patients and families as part of a holistic care approach.

The role emphasizes adherence to care plans, accurate record-keeping, and participation in quality improvement efforts, with a day shift in a full-time position at a faith-based health system.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) required.
• CPR/BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications required.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak conversational English.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Administers treatments and medications per physician orders.
• Reviews and implements patient care plans with RN and healthcare team.
• Collects patient data and documents information during shifts.
• Maintains accurate nursing documentation and complies with policies.
• Provides patient education and supports family when appropriate.
• Participates in unit quality improvement activities.
