Job summary

Candidate must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to patients being seen in the outpatient clinic at the Craig H. Neilsen Rehabilitation hospital.

Primary assigned rehab patient population will be Spinal Cord Injury and complex patients, with ability to cover as needed. The individual must demonstrate knowledge and the ability to assess data regarding the patient’s status and provide care as described above.

Qualifications

• Licensure to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in Utah.
• National Certification required (by licensure) and credentialing.
• ACLS/BLS/NRP/ATLS may be required by department.
• Utah prescriptive privileges may be required by privileging criteria.

Responsibilities

• Evaluation and treatment in outpatient rehab service.
• Work closely with PM&R physician.
• Take complex medical histories for consultations.
• Order consultations and coordinate with other specialties.
