Job summary

Northwest Specialty Hospital is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant to join our outpatient Physical Therapy team in CDA. The role involves implementing treatment programs under PT direction and educating patients to promote recovery.

This full-time, on-site role offers a $1,500 sign-on bonus and a Monday–Thursday schedule with no weekends or holidays, along with comprehensive benefits and a patient-centered care focus.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Must have current and unrestricted licensure in the state of Idaho or be actively in the application process.
• Must have current BLS certification.
• Ability to work independently and as a team member.
• Understand and adhere to the federal confidentiality regulations.

Responsibilities

• Administer treatment programs under PT direction with goals defined by patient capacity and spine protocols.
• Educate patients about biomechanics, exercises, and injury prevention to promote wellness.
• Communicate with patients, team members, the director of physical therapy, and physicians to ensure consistent care.
• Complete daily documentation on existing patients within the workday.
• Participate in monthly staff meetings and marketing assignments as directed by PT director.

Education

Graduate of accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program

Current Idaho licensure or active in application

Current BLS certification
