Job summary

Northwest Specialty Hospital's Northwest Physical Therapy team seeks a Physical Therapy Aide to support patient intake, prepare treatment areas, and assist mobility-impaired patients within our outpatient clinic.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, BLS certification, strong English communication, and a cooperative spirit to help therapists and other staff deliver patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proof of Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
• Aware of cleaning standards.
• Able to relate and work effectively with others.
• Demonstrated English communication for patient care and documentation.
• Knowledge of basic medical terminology preferred.
• Prior experience in healthcare preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient intake and prepare equipment and treatment areas.
• Move mobility-challenged patients to treatment areas.
• Provide non-medical support to Physical Therapists and Assistants.
• Prepare treatment rooms and maintain patient charts and information.
• Perform administrative duties and coordinate with other departments as needed.
• Work under stress while delivering impeccable service.
