Job summary

Wellstar Health Systems, Inc. is seeking a Physical Therapist to assess, plan, organize, and implement rehabilitative programs that enhance mobility, alleviate pain, and improve strength across the care continuum.

You will collaborate with physicians to develop treatment plans, educate patients and families, and ensure discharge planning aligns with goals while adhering to infection control and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited physical therapy program.
• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy required.
• Must hold a valid Physical Therapist license.
• BLS certification required; BLS Instructor and Provisional certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, organize, and implement rehabilitative programs to improve mobility and reduce pain.
• Collaborate with physicians to develop treatment plans and discharge goals.
• Develop and adjust care plans with patient and family input.
• Provide education and training to patients and families.
• Document evaluations, care plans, and sessions following guidelines.
• Follow infection prevention protocols and safety policies.
