Job summary

Rehab Associates of Central Virginia is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist in Virginia to join our outpatient clinic in Lynchburg. You will assess patients, develop and initiate treatment plans, and provide direct care following established guidelines.

Qualifications

• Graduate from CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Current state of Virginia license or ability to obtain Virginia license and CPR certification.
• Able to create outpatient balance and vestibular rehabilitation plans.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and develop and initiate treatment plans.
• Review physician referral and patient records to determine required PT treatment.
• Provide direct patient care by established protocols and guidelines.
• Document findings, progress, and instructions to patients and caregivers.
• Oversee care performed by assistants and rehabilitation technicians.
• Complete a written plan of care and set goals based on evaluations.
• Implement PT treatment programs and essential therapies.
• Communicate with patients, caregivers, physicians, and insurers.
• Ensure timely documentation including daily notes and discharge summaries.

Education

CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy program

Virginia license or ability to obtain Virginia license
