Job summary

Nacogdoches Medical Center is seeking a Physical Therapist to plan, direct and perform evaluations and care plans tailored to each patient. You will promote restoration of function, skin integrity, and strength, while educating patients and families about rehabilitation principles and pain management.

The role includes supervising support staff and coordinating with the multidisciplinary team to schedule treatments and support other areas of service. A Texas PT license is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved physical therapy program.
• Texas Physical Therapy License or temporary license; permanent license within 6 months.
• BCLS certification within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants, rehab technicians, physical therapy and PT/PTA students, and volunteers; participate in scheduling treatments and multidisciplinary care planning; educate patients and families.
