• Minimum Education: Graduate of an approved physical therapy program.
• Required Certification: BCLS within 3 months of date of hire.
• Required Licensure: Texas Physical Therapy License or temporary license is adequate with permanent license obtained by 6 months after date of hire.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants, rehabilitation technicians, PT/PTA students, and volunteers; participate in scheduling patient treatments and multidisciplinary care planning.
• Coordinate treatment schedules and support other areas of service beyond the home department.
• Educate patients and families about rehabilitation principles and home exercise programs.
