Job summary

Allegheny Health Network is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to evaluate and treat patients, supervise support staff, and collaborate with families and the healthcare team.

Responsibilities include goal-oriented plans of care, therapy interventions, and adherence to HIPAA and regulatory standards. A Bachelor’s degree is required with licensure eligibility; a Master’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• State licensure as a Physical Therapist or eligible.
• Master’s Degree preferred.
• CPR certification required.
• Act 34, Act 33, Act 73 FBI background clearances required.
• Current state driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Performs initial and ongoing assessments of patient’s condition and establishes goals and plan of care.
• Performs therapy interventions using standard PT techniques for patient age and condition.
• Completes documentation to comply with department, hospital and regulatory standards.
• Participates in departmental initiatives for operational improvement.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
