Job summary

Corewell Health seeks a part-time physical therapist in Big Rapids, MI to provide patient-focused therapy under medical direction and educate patients and caregivers. You will arrange adaptive equipment and coordinate care as needed.

Responsibilities include delivering therapy, documenting progress, and collaborating with the Rehab Resource Pool. The position is day shift, Monday–Friday, with 4 hours weekly, on-site at Care Center Big Rapids.

Qualifications

• Required Bachelor's Degree or equivalent from an accredited physical therapy program
• Master's degree preferred
• 6 months of relevant experience preferred
• Physical Therapy License MI required upon hire (State of Michigan)
• Driver's License MI required for Home Care business lines upon hire
• BLS certification required by either American Heart Association or American Red Cross within 90 days

Responsibilities

• Provides therapy to patients based on patient need and medical direction.
• Provides patient/caregiver education and arranges for adaptive equipment as needed.
