Job summary

The Meadows on University in Fargo, ND is seeking a Physical Therapist to join our Outpatient team. The role focuses on geriatric rehabilitation, mobility improvement, and resident-centered care within Eduro Healthcare facilities.

You will evaluate and plan treatments, supervise therapy assistants, maintain confidentiality, and comply with all regulations. Full-time, in-person schedule, Monday to Friday; PT license required. Daily Pay Available & Free CEUs Courses Offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Must hold current PT license in the state of employment.
• Experience with geriatric patients is a plus.
• Orientation completion as per company policy.
• Health screening and TB test within two weeks of employment.
• Comply with local, state and federal regulations.
• Provide satisfactory proof of identity and eligibility within 3 days.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate resident condition and develop a rehab plan.
• Help residents improve mobility and perform tasks.
• Guide residents through recovery stages and anticipate needs.
• Maintain resident confidence and protect confidentiality.
• Supervise physical therapy assistants when required.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and follow infection-control policies.
• Comply with legal and professional requirements.
• Collaborate with inter-disciplinary care teams.

We provide education on dementia training, wound care, vestibular rehab, modality use, skilled maintenance, and many more programming topics.

Physical Therapist Job Responsibilities

• Evaluate a Resident’s condition and develop an appropriate physical rehabilitation plan.
• Help Residents to improve their mobility.
• Help Residents through their tasks and monitor their performance.
• Inform Residents what they should anticipate in different stages of their recovery and how they will handle each situation.
• Maintain Resident confidence and protect facility operations by keeping information confidential.
• Supervise the activities of physical therapy assistants when required.
• Maintains a safe and clean working environment by protecting Residents and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols.
• Comply with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements.
• Contribute to inter-disciplinary team efforts in resident care.

Physical Therapist Requirements

• Must be a graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
