Job summary

Skyline Heights Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking an in-house PRN Physical Therapist to join our team. You will evaluate residents, develop rehabilitation plans, and help improve mobility with a focus on geriatric care.

Must hold a current PT license and be prepared to complete orientation; health screening and TB test within two weeks of employment. In person work with Eduro Healthcare values guiding patient care.

Qualifications

• Must hold current and active PT license or registration in state employed.
• Experience working with geriatric patients is a plus.
• Completion of orientation required by company policy.
• Health screening and TB test within two weeks of employment.
• Familiar with local, state, and federal regulations relating to the job.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate a Resident’s condition and develop an appropriate physical rehabilitation plan.
• Help Residents to improve their mobility.
• Help Residents through their tasks and monitor their performance.
• Inform Residents what they should anticipate in different stages of their recovery and how they will handle each situation.
• Maintain Resident confidence and protect facility operations by keeping information confidential.
• Supervise the activities of physical therapy assistants when required.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by infection-control policies and protocols.
• Comply with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements.
• Contribute to inter-disciplinary team efforts in resident care.

We provide education on dementia training, wound care, vestibular rehab, modality use, skilled maintenance, and many more programming topics.

Physical Therapist Requirements

• Must be a graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Must hold current and active PT license or registration in state employed.
• Experience working with geriatric patients is a plus!
• Completion of orientation required by company policy.
• Health screening and TB test within two weeks of employment.
• Become familiar with and comply to all local, state, and federal regulations relating to the job.
• Show within three (3) days of hire satisfactory evidence of identity and eligibility for employment.
