Job summary

AdventHealth seeks a licensed Physical Therapist to evaluate patients, establish care plans, and supervise assistants across Orange City and nearby clinics in Florida. The role involves treatment design, documentation, and collaboration with physicians to optimize patient outcomes.

The position requires a Doctorate in Physical Therapy, BLS, and PT licensure, with travel to multiple clinics as caseload grows. Competitive pay and benefits are provided starting Day One.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy required or eligible for licensure.
• BLS CPR Certification required.
• PT license current or pending Temporary PT license as applicable.
• Ability to travel to多个 Neuro clinics in Lake Mary, New Smyrna, Daytona and Orange City.

Responsibilities

• Determine physical therapy diagnosis and establish plan of care.
• Design and implement treatment plans following standards and insurance guidelines.
• Assess patient mobility, and evaluate muscles, nerves, joints, and integumentary systems.
• Oversee care by PT assistants and rehab aides.
• Perform evaluations and re-evaluations using standard techniques.
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
• Contribute to marketing efforts and outreach to physicians and practices.
• Document and bill accurately and timely.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Description

Up to $10,000 Sign-On Bonus for Eligible Applicants Up to $3000 relocation Assistance for Eligible Applicants Schedule: 8 hr shifts Monday-Thursday 7am-7pm, Friday 7am-6pm Location: 1053 Medical Center Drive Suite 151 Orange City, FL 32763, will travel to Neuro clinics Lake Mary, New Smyrna, Daytona, Innovation Tower until caseload grows at Orange City. The anticipated minimum pay rate for this position is $35/hour. Determines physical therapy diagnosis and establishes a plan of care, making recommendations for referral if treatment is needed outside the scope of physical therapist practice. Designs and implements treatment plan of care utilizing practice standards, recommended techniques, modalities, insurance guidelines, and patient needs. Assess patient ability to safely and effectively perform functional mobility skills and evaluates muscle, nerve, joint, and integumentary systems. Supports consumer marketing and public awareness through participation in community events, educational lectures/speaking, and/or other extension of clinical expertise to the community. Oversees the care provided by physical therapist assistants and rehabilitation therapy aides, according to established regulations and practice standards. Participates in practice changes as a result of performance improvement activities and supports quality standards and initiatives set by the department. Documents and charges accurately, completely, and timely using measurable and objective terminology following standards of practice, insurance guidelines and department/hospital policy and procedures. Participates in marketing to physicians and physician practices to build referral relationships. Performs evaluations and re-evaluations using recommended techniques and standards. Monitors patient response and progress to treatment, modifying the treatment plan as appropriate. Other duties as assigned.

Education
