Job summary

AdventHealth in Celebration, FL is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to join the Sport Medicine and Rehab team. This full-time role requires a Doctorate in Physical Therapy or eligible licensure, with CPT-aligned responsibilities and opportunities for professional growth.

Position includes outreach to communities, collaboration with physicians, and oversight of PT assistants. Competitive pay, benefits from day one, and sign-on/relocation options may be available.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy or eligible for licensure in the state.
• Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) with active credentials.
• BLS CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Supports clinical outreach by participating in community events and lectures.
• Adjusts and adapts to changes in patient census by altering working hours to assist other centers as approved.
• Maintains clinical competencies using evidence-based practices and acts as a clinical instructor.
• Oversees care provided by PT assistants and rehabilitation therapy aides according to regulations and standards.
• Documents and charges accurately, completely and timely following guidelines and policies.
• Participates in marketing to physicians and physician practices to build referral relationships.
• Performs evaluations and re-evaluations using recommended techniques and standards.
• Participates in marketing efforts to build referral networks with physicians.

• Oversees the care provided by physical therapist assistants and rehabilitation therapy aides, according to established regulations and practice standards.
• Documents and charges accurately, completely, and timely using measurable and objective terminology following standards of practice, insurance guidelines and department/hospital policy and procedures.
• Participates in marketing to physicians and physician practices to build referral relationships.
• Performs evaluations and re-evaluations using recommended techniques and standards.
• Participates in marketing to physicians/physician practices to build referral relationship

Qualifications

• Education: Doctorate [Preferred]
• Field of Study: in Physical Therapy
• Work Experience: Pelvic Therapy Certification (Preferred)
• Additional Information: Education requirements for this position are determined by the licensing or certification standards set forth by the relevant certifying body.
• Applicants must possess the level of education mandated for eligibility to obtain and maintain the required license or certification.
