Job summary

Spine & Sport Physical Therapy in South Oxnard is hiring an Outpatient Orthopedics Physical Therapist to join our team. You will evaluate and treat patients, develop personalized plans, and help them regain mobility and reduce pain in a collaborative setting.

Qualifications

• Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• Doctorate or Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• CPR certification and any state-required certifications.
• Strong clinical skills in orthopedic, neurological, or geriatric PT (preferred).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• Proficient computer/documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine functional abilities, goals, and needs.
• Develop personalized treatment plans and apply modalities and exercises.
• Administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and preventive care.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and outcomes.
• Monitor progress and adjust plans to achieve optimal results.
• Educate patients and families on home programs and injury prevention.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other professionals for coordinated care.
• Ensure timely completion of evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
