Illinois Bone and Joint Institute, LLC (IBJI) is hiring physical therapists to join our outpatient rehab team. The role focuses on evaluating and treating patients under physician supervision, delivering evidence-based care and collaborating with a multidisciplinary group across 100+ locations.

Qualifications

• Graduate from accredited Physical Therapy Program.
• Licensed or eligible to sit for boards in Illinois.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
• Professional and effective writing and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lift greater than 25 pounds.
• Demonstrates good understanding of proper body mechanics for lifting.
• Ability to stand and sit for extended times.
• Proficient computer use for documentation.

Responsibilities

• Exceptional patient care.
• Interprets physician orders, performs initial evaluations and establishes treatment plans and functional goals.
• Responsible for upgrading and amending treatment goals as needed.
• Written documentation on patient status to physicians per IBJI rehab guidelines.
• Determine discharge timeline and follow-up plans.
• Supervision of Rehabilitation Technicians and staff as needed.
• Documentation of all treatment in patient charts in a timely manner.
• Maintains compliance with billing policies and ethical billing practices.
• Maintains active state license by earning CEUs.
• Develops positive relationships with physician teams at IBJI.
• Participates in IBJI programs and community outreach.
