Job summary

Patriot Outpatient Therapy is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PRN) to support outpatient services in ALF buildings across Trumbull and Mahoning Counties. Under PT supervision, you’ll assist in evaluation, plan of care, and daily notes, delivering compassionate patient care.

Qualifications include graduation from an approved school, active State PTA license, CPR (BLS), and a background check. Per diem position with mileage reimbursement and 401k match offered.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an approved school.
• Must be licensed by the State as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
• Must have a criminal background check.
• Must have a current CPR (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of a Registered Physical Therapist (PT), provide patient services which have been delegated by the PT.
• Under the supervision of the PT, assist in evaluation and development of a rehabilitative plan of care and in periodic re-evaluation as required.
• Participate in the preparation of clinical and daily progress notes.
• Assume other duties deemed appropriate and necessary by the PT.

• Hearing, eyesight, and physical dexterity must be sufficient to perform a physical assessment of the patient's condition and to perform patient care
• On occasion, may be required to bend, stoop, reach and move patient weight up to 250 pounds; lift and/or carry up to 30 pounds
