Job summary

Mercy Hospital Washington in Missouri is seeking a Physical Therapist to assess, plan, and implement individualized rehabilitation for adult and geriatric patients. Under supervision of Therapy Leadership, you will supervise rehab staff and coordinate care in a fast-paced hospital setting.

The role offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus and full-time, 40-hour weeks with day shifts and occasional weekend/holiday rotation.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor, Master of Science in Physical Therapy or Doctorate of Physical Therapy.
• Licensure: Current/Temporary license of Physical Therapy in state of practice.
• Certifications: BLS; required before independent patient care.
• Preferred Experience: 6 months to 1 year in Rehabilitation Physical Therapy; adult/geriatric care.

Responsibilities

• Perform objective assessments and develop comprehensive individualized treatment plans for adult and geriatric patients.
• Direct supervision to patients and indirect supervision of rehabilitation technicians.
• General supervision of PT assistants per State Practice Acts.
• Align duties with Mercy mission and service standards.
