Job description

Outpatient Physical Therapist Job in Cedar Park, TX

North Austin Physical Therapy is hiring for an Outpatient Physical Therapist job in Cedar Park, TX, and we’re looking for someone who is passionate about helping patients regain movement, confidence, and independence. In this on-site role, you’ll provide individualized, one-on-one care while working alongside a collaborative team that values clinical excellence, professional growth, and meaningful patient relationships. Every day offers the opportunity to make a lasting impact by guiding people back to the activities that matter most to them through evidence-based physical therapy.

Build a Career Where Patient Care Comes First

At North Austin Physical Therapy, we believe exceptional outcomes begin with thoughtful, personalized care. You’ll evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide hands-on interventions that are tailored to each person’s goals and progress. Rather than simply following a routine, you’ll use your clinical reasoning to make informed decisions that help patients recover safely and confidently.

You’ll also be part of a supportive clinical environment where collaboration is part of everyday practice. Our therapists work closely with fellow clinicians and healthcare providers to deliver coordinated care while encouraging continuous learning and professional development. Whether you’re an experienced clinician or a recent graduate looking to benefit from mentorship, you’ll have the support needed to continue growing throughout your career.

Make a Difference Every Day

Your work will extend beyond treating symptoms. You’ll build meaningful relationships with patients, educate them on injury prevention and long-term wellness, and empower them with the knowledge and confidence to stay active long after discharge. By combining evidence-based treatment with compassionate communication, you’ll help people return to the work, hobbies, sports, and daily activities they value most.

Compensation:

  • Base salary: $68,000-76,000 annually

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and compliant documentation practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach
  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a collaborative team environment

Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one skilled physical therapy treatments focused on improving mobility, function, strength, and quality of life
  • Deliver evidence-based interventions including therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, neuromuscular re-education, functional training, and patient education
  • Establish meaningful relationships with patients while guiding and motivating them throughout their recovery journey
  • Regularly assess patient progress and modify treatment plans to optimize outcomes and meet individualized goals
  • Complete timely and accurate documentation in accordance with clinic standards, payer requirements, and regulatory guidelines
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and other healthcare providers to support coordinated care
  • Collaborate with other clinicians and team members to promote a positive, patient-centered clinic environment
  • Educate patients on injury prevention, home exercise programs, and strategies to maintain long-term health and wellness
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and contribute to a culture of learning, growth, and clinical excellence
  • Support clinic initiatives that enhance patient experience, community relationships, and overall practice success

Skills:

  • Ability to build strong therapeutic relationships and provide exceptional patient experiences
  • Clear and compassionate communication skills with patients, families, physicians, and team members
