Job summary

El Camino Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist the Pharmacist and Pharmacy Manager in serving customers and maintaining the pharmacy department. You will provide quality pharmaceutical services to inpatients, outpatients, employees and the public under supervision of a registered pharmacist.

Responsibilities include processing prescriptions, handling payments, and supporting pharmacy systems. Must have California Pharmacy Technician registration and 3 years of community pharmacy

Qualifications

High School Diploma is required.
Minimum 3 years current community pharmacy experience preferred.
Knowledge of outpatient and retail drugs and usual doses is preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist Pharmacist and Pharmacy Manager in serving customers and maintaining the Pharmacy department.
Provide quality pharmaceutical services to inpatients, outpatients, employees and public.
Enter and process prescription information accurately and support insurance billing.
