Job summary

El Camino Health is seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician for daytime shifts in Mountain View, CA. The 0.9 FTE role (72 bi-weekly hours) includes providing friendly, accurate pharmacy care, assisting customers, processing prescriptions, and supporting billing and clinical services.

Requirements include a High School Diploma, 3+ years in community pharmacy, active CA Tech registration, and strong communication within a team.

Qualifications

High School diploma required and California Pharmacy Technician registration active.
Minimum 3 years current community pharmacy experience preferred.
Knowledge of outpatient and retail drug therapies and dosing.

Responsibilities

Provide friendly and efficient pharmacy care to customers.
Greet customers and assist with products and services; resolve issues.
Process prescriptions, verify patient, prescriber and drug information; insurance billing.
Support clinical services and programs (e.g., meds to bed).
Handle cash register transactions and payments; assist OTC locating products.
Maintain inventory levels and reduce partial filled prescriptions.
Maintain safe, clean working environment and comply with regulations.
Collaborate with Pharmacy Manager and supervisors as needed.
Contribute to team goals and complete related tasks.
