Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Registration as a Pharmacy Technician with the applicable Board of Pharmacy.
• Must sit for the PTCB or NHA certification exam within 30 days of eligibility.
• Must be actively working towards national certification and obtained within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Monitor hospice prescriptions and ensure proper documentation and state compliance.
• Assist pharmacist in dispensing medications and resolve third-party billing issues.
• Maintain stock with FIFO and ensure expiration dating and organized pharmacy.
• Answer phones promptly while complying with HIPAA.
