Shift: 4
Schedule: Float pharmacy technician working 8-hour shifts between 6am-9pm. You will rotate through various shifts, including closing shifts once or twice a week, and one weekend shift every four to six weeks.
Coordinates the daily operations of the pharmacy technician staff at the assigned location. Acts as a resource for technicians, providing guidance on technical and operational matters. Assists the pharmacist with processing medication orders and monitoring drug therapy. May procure, measure, compound, count, and deliver medications under supervision. Works within Wisconsin statutes and regulations. Other duties as assigned.
Minimum of 1 year of pharmacy technician experience preferred.
High School diploma or equivalent required. Graduation from an accredited pharmacy technician training program is preferred.
Leadership training is preferred.
Exceptional customer service, effective communication with diverse groups, attention to detail, organizational skills, leadership, and experience with computer systems.
Apply for Wisconsin pharmacy technician registration by hire date; must obtain within 12 months. Certification (CPhT) required within 6 months of hire.
