Intermountain Health Good Samaritan Hospital in Lafayette, Colorado, is seeking an Outpatient Pharmacy Technician to join the hospital‑connected outpatient pharmacy team. You will assist the pharmacist, prepare medication orders, and help patients access the medications they need.

We value retail and hospital pharmacy experience, attention to detail, and strong customer service. The schedule is full‑time, 40 hours, with shifts Mon–Fri and rotating weekends, and the hourly rate ranges from $20.73

Formación

• High School or equivalent is required.
• Current pharmacy technician certification and/or license applicable to state of practice.
• Current knowledge of state and federal regulations and statutes regarding the practice of pharmacy and the distribution of approved drugs, controlled substances, and investigational agents.

Responsabilidades

• Assists the pharmacist in collecting patient information and maintaining records as required by regulation and policy.
• Prepares medication orders for dispensing and performs calculations, and compounds medications as appropriate to practice site.
• Attains supervision and accuracy checks by the pharmacist(s) and ensures pharmacist verification when required.
• Maintains medication supplies and monitors controlled substance inventories for security, accuracy, and cost effectiveness.
• Communicates with caregivers and participates in quality and patient safety initiatives.
