Job summary

Kaiser Permanente Waipahu, HI is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to perform semi-technical and clerical duties, fill and package medications, restock supplies, and assist pharmacists in dispensing according to policies and regulations.

You will greet patients, input prescription data, prepare labels, check accuracy, handle cashiering, and support unit-dose distribution in hospital or clinic settings as required.

Qualifications

• Previous pharmacy experience required or in a pharmacy technician training program.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Hawaii Pharmacy Technician Certificate of Registration and PTCB certification required.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and healthcare personnel and initiate service transactions.
• Input patient and prescription data to produce labels and assist in dispensing.
• Select proper drug and quantity, fill containers, label, and present for pharmacist check.
• Assist with unit-dose distribution and hospital/in-clinic pharmacy processes as trained.
• Handle cashiering duties and ensure accurate payment processing and receipts.
• Support inventory management and restock to fixed levels as needed.
• Maintain organized, safe, and clean work area and comply with policies.
