Job summary

Responsibilities

• Greets patients and initiates service transactions using proper forms and processes.
• Inputs patient and prescription information to produce labels and assist in filling prescriptions.
• Selects drugs and quantities, fills containers, applies labels, and submits for pharmacist checking.
• Balances cash and payments; prepares bank deposits and reconciliations.
• Gathers data for reports and maintains OTC price lists and stock levels.
• Files prescriptions and transaction documents in a timely manner.
