Southern Ohio Medical Center is seeking an Outpatient Pharmacy Tech Assistant Supervisor in West Union, OH. You will lead technicians, manage schedules, and supervise daily workflow while coordinating training and process improvements with the pharmacist supervisor.

You’ll split time between operational leadership and administrative duties, ensuring compliance, inventory control, and effective use of pharmacy software and automation. Join a team focused on patient care and efficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Board-approved technician training or national certification.
• Achieve 90% on SOMC competency assessment within 2 years.
• Advanced technician certifications within 4 years.
• Advanced certificates in immunization, MTM, and compliance within 4 years.
• ASHP Leadership Certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and coordinate daily pharmacy workflow for efficiency.
• Create technician/cashier schedules and approve time-off.
• Utilize UKG for timekeeping and scheduling changes.
• Inspect and manage pharmacy inventory and cycle counts.
• Partner with leadership on training and coaching staff.
• Lead process improvements and adoption of new tech.
