Job summary

Advocate Health seeks a Pharmacy Technician at Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center - Outpatient Pharmacy.

Under supervision, you will fill medication orders, deliver medications, and assist with compounding sterile and non-sterile preparations while interviewing patients to obtain medication histories. You will also enter prescriptions into the pharmacy computer system, support inventory control, and maintain professional communication with staff in a fast-paced hospital outpatient setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; enrolled in a College of Pharmacy (1st year)
• Proficient computer skills and strong communication
• Solid organizational and analytical abilities
