Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Beachwood is seeking an Outpatient Pharmacist for Specialty Fulfillment on a PRN basis. You will join the Specialty Pharmacy-Medical Operations team at the Cleveland Clinic Administrative Campus to process and mail prescriptions, review patient charts, fill and verify medications, and manage inventory while supporting daily operations.

The role requires a PharmD or BS in Pharmacy, active state licensure or eligibility within 90 days, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist must hold a PharmD or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited college.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Pharmacist (RPh) or eligibility within 90 days of hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through AHA or Red Cross; immunization administration training within 90 days of hire for those giving immunizations.

Responsibilities

• Provide pharmacy services and ensure appropriate selection, dosing, administration and dispensing of medication orders.
• Deliver safe, patient-centered and evidence-based medication services.
• Verify medication orders and dispense medications accurately per state and federal regulations.
• Contribute to medication safety initiatives.
• Document services completely and timely.
• Ensure pharmacy operations comply with national accreditation standards.
• Maintain professional patient interactions to support experiences.
