Actalent is seeking a licensed Pharmacist to join our outpatient team in Memphis, Tennessee. This fast-paced role focuses on safe dispensing, patient education, and collaboration with healthcare providers to deliver excellent care.

Responsibilities include reviewing prescriptions, counseling patients, maintaining records, managing inventory, and ensuring regulatory compliance. A Tennessee Pharmacist license and PharmD are required; outpatient/retail experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or equivalent pharmacy degree.
• Active and unrestricted Tennessee Pharmacist license.
• Strong knowledge of pharmacology, medication safety, and clinical pharmacy practices.
• Excellent communication and patient counseling skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment.

Responsabilités

• Review and verify prescriptions for accuracy, appropriate dosing, potential drug interactions, allergies, and other safety concerns.
• Dispense prescription medications in accordance with state and federal regulations.
• Counsel patients on medication usage, side effects, storage, adherence, and potential interactions.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes and clarify prescription orders when necessary.
• Maintain accurate patient profiles and pharmacy records.
• Support medication reconciliation efforts and continuity of care initiatives.
• Manage pharmacy inventory, including ordering, receiving, and maintaining appropriate stock levels.
• Provide guidance, training, and oversight to pharmacy technicians and support staff.
• Ensure compliance with all pharmacy regulations, policies, and quality standards.
• Participate in patient safety, quality assurance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
