Position Overview

Children's Minnesota is seeking a licensed Clinical or Pediatric Psychologist to join our Department of Psychological Services. This unique position combines expertise in neurodevelopmental and mental health care with interdisciplinary pediatric feeding services, offering an opportunity to provide comprehensive, evidence‑based care to children and adolescents with complex developmental, behavioral, and medical needs.

A portion of the psychologist's effort will be dedicated to providing outpatient psychological services for children and adolescents with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), other neurodevelopmental conditions, and co‑occurring mental health concerns. These services are embedded within the Department of Psychological Services and emphasize evidence-based assessment and intervention.

The remaining FTE of the position will be dedicated to the Pediatric Feeding Clinic, an embedded multidisciplinary specialty program providing evaluation and treatment for children with pediatric feeding disorders. In this role, the psychologist will work collaboratively with physicians, advanced practice providers, speech‑language pathologists, occupational therapists, dietitians, and other specialists to address the behavioral, developmental, and psychosocial factors contributing to feeding difficulties.

Department Overview

The Psychological Services department provides services on both the Minneapolis and St. Paul campuses. Specific services include individual and family therapy, psychological assessment, neuropsychological assessment, and inpatient consultation and liaison. We also have pediatric psychologists embedded in a number of specialty clinics. Annually, we care for over 2,200 children with a primary reason for a visit related mental health concern in our two emergency departments, and complete 23,000+ outpatient visits in our behavioral health clinics.

Required Qualifications
  • Licensed or licensed‑eligible psychologist in Minnesota.
  • Doctoral degree (Ph.D., Psy.D.) in Psychology and completion of a clinical internship and postdoctoral fellowship from an APA‑approved program.
  • Experience providing evidence‑based assessment and intervention for children and adolescents with autism spectrum disorder and other neurodevelopmental disorders.
  • Experience working with pediatric feeding disorders or interest in developing expertise in this specialty.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within interdisciplinary medical teams.
  • Commitment to family‑centered, culturally responsive, and trauma‑informed care.
