Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health in College Station, TX seeks a Physical Therapist Assistant to support outpatient orthopedics under supervision. You’ll conduct patient assessment, testing, and therapy, aiming to restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability.

The role emphasizes collaboration with Physical Therapists, patient education, and accurate documentation. Prior PTA education or enrollment is required; new grads are welcome.

Qualifications

• Must have attended or currently attending an accredited PTA program or have a Temp license.
• Experience in outpatient orthopedics age range from adolescents to geriatrics highly desired.
• New Grads are welcomed to apply.

Responsibilities

• Administer physical therapy interventions under supervision of a Physical Therapist.
• Instruct and assist patients; monitor progress and adjust as needed.
• Assist with patient mobility, transfers, gait, and use of modalities.
• Prepare clear assessments and documentation of patient treatment and progress.
