Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have attended or currently attending an accredited PTA program or have a Temp license.
• Experience in outpatient orthopedics age range from adolescents to geriatrics highly desired. New Grads are welcomed to apply.

Responsibilities

• Administers physical therapy interventions as planned by the Physical Therapist.
• Instructs and assists patients, monitors progress to gauge effectiveness.
• Assists with patient mobility including bed mobility, transfers, and gait.
• Maintains safety practices and patient guarding during treatments.
• Escorts patients to treatment areas and documents progress and treatment notes.
• Communicates with the Physical Therapist about progress and need for goal modification.
