East Suburban Sports Medicine Center is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to provide outpatient orthopedic care and implement individualized treatment plans. You will guide patients through exercises, document progress, and collaborate with Physical Therapists to optimize outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current Pennsylvania PTA license or ability to begin licensing promptly.
• BLS CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized treatment plans developed by Physical Therapists, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and patient education.
• Provide direct patient care in an outpatient orthopedic setting with professionalism and empathy.
• Instruct patients on proper exercise techniques, body mechanics, and home programs.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and HIPAA-compliant records.
• Communicate with patients and healthcare team to ensure coordinated care.
• Monitor patient progress and report observations to supervising therapists.
• Assist with clinic operations and patient flow management.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient treatment environment.
• Support patients with encouragement throughout rehabilitation and stay current with best practices.
