Job summary

Star Physical Therapy Services in Cypress, Texas is seeking a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to deliver high-quality outpatient rehabilitation. The PTA implements treatment plans, educates patients, and supports clinic operations under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.

Responsibilities include hands-on care, therapeutic exercises, and patient education, with a focus on safe, effective progress and patient satisfaction in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current Physical Therapist Assistant license in the state of Texas.
• CPR/BLS certification.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced outpatient environment.

Responsibilities

• Carry out physical therapy treatment plans established by the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Provide therapeutic exercises, neuromuscular re-education, gait training, balance training, and functional activities.
• Administer approved modalities per PT direction.
• Monitor patient response and report progress to the supervising PT.
