Qualifikationen

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Current and active licenses and certifications.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Demonstrated conflict management skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail.
• Operating room experience preferred.
• Regular travel to Austell, Douglasville and Vinings locations.

Aufgaben

• Perform complete physical exams, pre-operative and post-operative evaluations and record findings.
• Order and interpret diagnostic studies (X-rays, MRIs, CTs and labs).
• Establish a diagnosis, determine a treatment plan and orders for ancillaries/tests.
• Consult with specialists and interventional physicians as needed.
• Assist in reduction of fractures and dislocations.
• Provide minor office surgical care (e.g., toenail removal, suturing).
• Administer injections and other clinic procedures.
• Prepare written prescription orders and refill authorizations.
• Assist with fitting braces and orthopedic devices.
• Instruct patients on medications and treatment instructions; provide education on devices.
• Record patient progress notes and transcribe orders.
• Triage calls and provide patient education and consultation.
• Provide monitoring and continuity of care; perform evaluations in emergencies.
