Job summary

Resurgens Orthopaedics is seeking a Physician Assistant to support Dr. Freddy Achecar, a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon, across Austell, Douglasville and Vinings locations.

The role involves conducting exams, ordering studies, forming treatment plans, and assisting with surgeries and injections, while providing patient education and care coordination in a collaborative outpatient setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Current and active PA license and certifications.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Operating room experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete physical exams and pre/post-operative evaluations.
• Order and interpret diagnostic studies (X-rays, MRIs, CTs, labs).
• Establish diagnoses and treatment plans; coordinate care.
• Assist in reductions and minor office procedures.
• Administer injections, medications, and dressings.
• Provide patient education and treatment instructions.
• Triage calls and provide patient education and guidance.
• Support care across Austell, Douglasville and Vinings locations.
