Job summary

Resurgens Orthopaedics seeks a Physician Assistant to support Dr. Freddy Achecar, a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon, across general orthopaedics, joint replacement, hip and knee conditions and sports medicine.

This outpatient-focused role delivers patient evaluation, treatment planning, education and follow-up care for musculoskeletal conditions, across Austell, Douglasville and Vinings locations.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Current and active GA PA license.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Operating room experience preferred.
• Willingness to travel to Austell, Douglasville and Vinings.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete physical exams and pre/post-operative evaluations.
• Order and interpret diagnostic studies (X-rays, MRIs, CTs).
• Assist in minor office surgical procedures.
• Administer injections and joint aspirations.
• Provide patient education on medications and devices.
• Triage calls and coordinate care across multiple locations.
